Google Chrome - Amazing browser
I did download and used this browser since last week and one word can i say, amazing. It is the fastest browser I ever seen before and it did not make my pc hang if I open multiple tabs.
I wonder how Google can made such a good browser. I did my own research and found out, each tab that you open, Chrome will start a new service which is different from the rest of the browser. The service will stop when we close any tab. So CPU usage will reduce immediately. Compare to other browser which is sometime still hold the CPU resources until 100% even I did close most of the tabs.

Domino 8.0.2 Successfully Upgraded
For those who did not know, IBM just released the latest version of Domino 8 series which is 8.0.2. And I just upgraded my office Domino server to 8.0.2.
My comment, IBM did fixed few bug in DWA and seem like accessing DWA faster than 8.0.1 version.
IBM did come out with a new page for DWA which is can support Safari browser. They call it DWA Ultralite. It is using AJAX programming. Impressive. Tested with Opera browser.
And also I did test with Firefox 3.0.2 and seem no more script error appear when I am using DWA.

IBM HTTP Server clustering with RSYNC
This will be my 1st post related to my research. For those want to deploy IHS clustering, I think RSYNC is the best software.
Software that I used in this research:
1. Suse Enterprise Linux 10
2. Rsync
3. SSH
Steps:
1. Install IHS on both server, server A and server B.
2. Install rsync application on the server A.
3. Create a user name syncer on both server.
Note: You can change the username to any name that you prefer.
4. Create a public key so syncer user on server A can access server B using ssh
Command:
ssh-keygen -t dsa
Note: don't put any passphrase
5. FTP the /home/syncer/.ssh/id_dsa.pub file from server A to serverB under /home/syncer/.ssh
6. Rename the id_dsa.pub to authorized_keys2.
7. Create rsync script in server A under /home/syncer and add in these lines:
!/bin/bash
rsync -r -a -v -e "ssh -l syncer" --delete /opt/IBM/HTTPServer/htdocs/ ihs2:/opt/IBM/HTTPServer/htdocs/
8. Add cron task for user syncer in server A:
Command:
su - syncer
crontab -e
# Add this line:
0-59/1 * * * * /home/syncer/rsync.sh
# to check the cron task
crontab -l
9. So now you have IHS clustering secured with SSH tunneling.
